Chapter Eighteen Chapter Nineteen Chapter Twenty Summary

In Chapter Eighteen, Darren runs back to the Cirque and tells Mr. Crepsley, Vancha and Harkat what he has seen. Vancha growls about treacherous witches and insists they must go and fight the Vampaneze. Mr. Crepsley and Darren argue against attacking the Vampaneze but Vancha insists even if the Vampaneze are not there to attack them if they let them go they could go out and kill some of Vancha, Darren or Crepsley's friends.

When the Vampire group reaches the copse they make their plans. Vancha says he will disable a couple by hitting them in the legs with his shurikens. Darren says he should just hit them in the head or throat but Vancha says that is not honorable. Vancha throws his stars and the shrieks of the injured alerts the others...
