Chapter Four, Chapter Five, Chapter Six, Chapter Seven Summary

In Chapter Four, the Vampire Prince, Mika Ver Leth returns to the mountain after five years in the field fighting. He is dressed in black, like his hair, and his eyes seem more grim than usual. Mika announces he has news but wants the entire mountain to assemble so he only has to state the news once. Mika asks if Seba has been keeping good care of his coffin.

All the Vampires assembled are anxious to hear his news and they push him to start talking. He tells them he has news of the Vampaneze leader but he does not know where the leader is located. He does tell them that the leader does not have a base and travels the road with guards learning of the Vampaneze life...
