Chapters 13-19 Summary

Anita calls Richard to tell him about the Halloween party at Catherine's new house. While Richard is explaining that he has friends who may be able to lend their costumes, Anita's beeper goes off. Anita hangs up and returns a call to Dolph. There is another vampire victim. The murder scene looks the same as the one with the previous victim except this one is a woman. Anita tells Dolph that Ronnie recognizes the name of the first victim and that he was a member of Humans Against Vampires. After speaking with Dolph, Anita calls Richard to firm up their plans. Ronnie teases Anita about having agreed to two dates with Richard, which seems pretty serious for her friend.
