Benny sees her parents and Patsy waiting for her to get off the bus. She thinks Sean must have scared them with bad news. Her mother wants to know how she is. Benny emphasizes that she told her father on the phone that she is okay. Her mother wants to know why she went back for treatment. She says Sean's news was disturbing. Benny says Sean should not have been involved. Benny's father says Sean went to make sure she was fine. Benny says she did not need Sean talking about her and that she had more pressing problems like seeing a boy die and Eve getting hurt. Benny is embarrassed that she is crying.
