Book One, Chapter One - Chapter Three Summary

Cinder is the story of Cinderella, told from a sci-fi perspective in a unique way. Cinder is a charming, beautiful young woman with a troubled past, and a fair amount of robotic adjustments, making her a cyborg. Through the novel, she learns more of her history, discovering she is really a Lunar queen who has been hidden for years, but she must learn to deal with her fears, and leave those she loves, in order to save her Emperor, and the planet, from evil Queen Levana.
