Genetrix

Genetrix is the name of Earth in a parallel dimension in which magic was unleashed in 1968. The only magic Earth has ever had exists within the Dark One and the Chosen Ones, as well as their magical instruments. Genetrix, on the other hand, is full of magic. When a missile opened up the Mariana Trench in 1968, a power was unleashed and magic surged up into the world. Almost everyone has access to magic, though for the most part it must be channeled through expensive siphons.
