Chapter 11 Summary - The Miracle

The next morning is a foggy one, and when Lurvy brings Wilbur his morning slop, he is shocked to see written in the spider web across the barn doorway the words: "Some Pig!" After a short prayer, he rushes to get Mr. Zuckerman. He, too, can hardly believe what he sees.

Mr. Zuckerman quickly breaks the news to his wife, Edith, that they have experienced a miracle. He explains what has happened, and she tells him that maybe it is the spider, not the pig, that is special. He dismisses this idea, saying it's nothing but a common gray spider.

Wilbur is happy to receive so much attention, and Charlotte is thrilled that her trick has fooled everyone. A small fly lands in her web, and she quickly carries it away before.....
