Chapter 14 Summary

Harry, Ron and Hermione discuss the possibility that Hagrid is responsible for the recent events related to the Chamber of Secrets. They know that he is fond of dangerous animals, often keeping them as pets, but they also know that Hagrid would never intentionally hurt anyone. They decide not to question him, as nothing untoward has happened at the school for some time.

The students are occupied with school issues such as choosing their subjects to study for next year. Hermione signs up for every possible subject but Harry and Ron are less certain of what they want to do and sign up for the same subjects so they can help each other when they get stuck. Harry is also busy practicing for the next Quidditch match; this takes up most of his time......
