Vice President

The job of vice-president is a symbol of authority and leadership. All the frogs want to have that role. They erupt into a fight, and Flippy has to intervene.

Flippy

Flippy is the symbol of parental caring and concern. He is determined to have the young frogs create comic books that have positive, thoughtful content. Thus, Flippy is also the symbol of adults who will not necessarily approve of some of the frogs' comic book content, especially the violence and the potty humor. After having a talk with Nurse Lady, Flippy "flips" to her way of thinking that the young frogs should write about what they like because it will not cause harm to them.
