A bus driver finds Nana Mama in the street in front of the Cross home. Soon the street is flooded with police and emergency vehicles. Sampson arrives and runs frantically into the home, shocked to find the children bruised and battered. Nana Mama and the children were beaten in their beds, but their injuries are superficial.
