Cyra Noavek

Cyra is one of the main characters and the narrator for a good portion of this novel. She is the sister of Ryzek and daughter of Ylira. She had always believed she was the daughter of Lazmet but after Cyra and the renegades have kidnapped Ryzek, Ryzek tells Cyra that the reason her blood would not unlock the doors to his private room was because she did not have any Noavek blood. This would indicate that Cyra had a different father than Ryzek.

It is after Ryzek steals a memory from his sister that she develops her currentgift. Ryzek had told her that she deserved to suffer just as much as he did before he took one of her favorite memories. After she developed the black currents running under her skin that gave her pain and hurt those who tried to touch her. Ryzek never came near...
