Summary

In Chapter 13, Cyra stopped taking painkillers since she felt she could no longer trust Akos. Ryzek had left the dagger on her pillow as a warning. She spent her days overseeing the challenges that were part of the Sojourn Festival where anyone who had a grievance with another person could fight to the death or until one person surrendered.

The next time Cyra talked to Akos was when Vas delivered the armor that Akos had earned. Vas told Akos that since Ryzek was trading memories with Eijeh that Eijeh no longer had to be locked into his room but instead stayed of his own free will. After Vas left, Akos asked Cyra if there was any way what Ryzek was doing to his brother could be reversed. He also admitted to Cyra how badly he felt for using her to help him...
