Chapter 12-14 Summary

In Chapter 12, Zoya is on her way to work at the cancer wing, and she catches the trolley. She is thinking about her life. She is a single woman in a town where there are many single women and few good men. She has worn a dress that Oleg has mentioned he likes. Zoya is resourceful, pretty, and determined not to end up like her parents or her friends. She wants a good man for her husband.
