Summary

The first reason why David has been depressed lately come up at a literary festival in Santorini in September 2015 when he is asked what he thinks of Donald Trump's presidential candidacy. David sees his presidential bid "as just another commercial for himself" and would not be surprised "if he were to name the Hamburgler as his running mate" (186).
