They should wait to return to Guam. Maryk wants to talk to Halsey, so the two officers go by gig. The immediate problem is that Queeg served fairly well during the typhoon. Keefer adds that paranoids cleverly walk the narrow dividing line between outright lunacy and acts that can be explained.
