Chapters 4-5 Summary and Analysis

Victor is friends with Heim and Michael in his class. They live in the same area and commute to classes together. They learn about the importance of information gathering and liaison. Zave Alan lectures on liaison with the CIA and other entities. Liaison results in a personal relationship. Jumbo is information that is volunteered. Ran S. lectures on the use of sayanim, who are non-Israeli Jews who perform functions in other countries. They represent a pool of people who quietly perform various functions.
