Second, Chapters 16 through Third, Chapter 6 Summary

In the sixteenth chapter, Melody and Zen arrive at Melody's house to discover that Harmony is gone though her belongings - including her veil - are still in the guest room. Melody immediately fears that Harmony will be running around town, touting scripture. She knows people will believe she's Melody. Melody scans MiNet, looking for something that might lead her to Harmony's whereabouts, and sees what she believes to be spam from Jondoe. The messages from Jondoe indicate that he's taken with her and finds her "special and surprising." There is also several messages from Lib, all very cryptic, and Melody begins to be suspicious that something is happening.

Just then there's a knock at the door and Melody expects it to be Harmony. She's surprised to find Ram standing there instead. Ram reaches out...
