Summary

Unlike the previous three installments of "Brief Interviews," this chapter includes only one interview, with Subject #20. Subject #20 describes what he intended to be a one-night-stand with a woman that he ran into at a festival in a local park. Subject #20 notes how he had dismissively categorized this woman he slept with as a "Granola Cruncher" (288), seeing as the woman presented a lot of elements of modern hippie culture. Subject #20 even elaborates that, having anticipated her reactions in their initial conversation, he was able to seduce her more quickly and easily than he even would have liked to do.
