Quest For Self-Improvement

Bridget is on a constant quest to improve herself. Her diary begins with her New Year's Resolutions, which consist of all the things she will and will not do during the year. The whole idea of resolutions is to improve one's year over the previous one. Bridget strives to improve her physical appearance so as to be more attractive to would-be suitors. She counts calories, measures the circumference of her thighs, and weighs herself just about every day. Also wanting to improve her health, she tries to quit smoking and limit her alcohol intake. Wanting to improve her character, Bridget reads a magazine article about inner poise and begins trying to practice inner poise in all situations. At one point, Bridget's friend Jude introduces her to Feng Shui, and she begins re-arranging her.....
