Bridget Jones

Bridget Jones is a 30-something, single career woman living in London, England. She is a humorous and loveable character that continually finds herself in hapless situations. As a compulsive self-improver, Bridget counts calories, pounds, cigarettes and alcohol consumption every day for a year. Bridget grew up outside London, and her parents still live in the home she grew up in. When her parents start having marital problems, Bridget is shaken and cannot believe that she may become the child of a broken home, although she hasn't lived at home since childhood. Bridget's relationships with men, a focal point of her diary, are mostly disastrous. Her relationship history leads to the New Year's Resolution that she will not get involved with screw-ups and unavailable men. However, when she gets the chance, she gets involved with.....
