July Summary

Sunday 2 July: Bridget's mother calls and invites Bridget and Daniel to a Tarts and Vicars party being thrown by some neighborhood friends.

Saturday 22 July: Bridget is looking forward to Daniel coming to the Tarts and Vicars party with her. She's excited that he'll meet her dad. She's hoping that they will make a mini-vacation out of the weekend and stay in a place without a TV in the bedroom.

Bridget awakens in the night after a nightmare and expects Daniel to be supportive. He just tries to be humorous. Bridget gets more upset and leaves to sleep on the sofa. Daniel "interprets" the dream for her, saying that it is about her true purpose in life: to cook his meals and walk around his flat with no pants on.
