May Summary

Monday 1 May: Bridget fears that she is eating for two. After Daniel finally left, Bridget had to attend to her horrendous hangover by eating. She lists all the items she consumed, including cheese, potatoes, cheesecake, candy bar, chocolate dessert, broccoli and hot dogs. She also fantasizes about Daniel as a father. These fantasies which turn into fears of her and Daniel as drunken parents with cockney accents after she sees him. He looks horrible and hung-over, probably because he continued drinking after they parted.

Wednesday 3 May: Bridget is back to 128 pounds. She is sure this is due to the rapidly growing baby and the fact that she consumed 3100 calories, mostly made up of potatoes. Bridget admits to herself that she knew she really wasn't pregnant before. Then her period is late,.....
