Summary

Summer of Fun

It is the end of August. Bridge has thoroughly enjoyed the summer. Bridget has asked to be removed from the rewriting process of her screenplay. Bridget and her mother have grown much closer, and her mother is now a frequent visitor. Billy and Mabel are thrilled because of it. Bridget worries about going back to school because of Wallaker. Rebecca explains that Scott Wallaker went to school with her husband Jake and was in the SAS –the Special Air Service. Wallaker had been in Afghanistan and had gone through some serious troubles. But, he is not married –he is divorced. His wife was a horrible person and spent too much money.

The school year begins again, and Bridget discovers that everyone is trying to fix Wallaker up with a single friend. Wallaker is now in charge of more...
