Part 3

Horrible No-Good Very Bad Day

Bridget has a wonderful night with Roxster, but he doesn’t seem overly thrilled when Mabel and Billy fight the next morning. Ambergris sends Bridget an e-mail, telling her she is a proper screenwriter and that Dougie is on board. Bridget thinks about how more and more middle-aged women are going for younger guys.

Overstuffed Lives

Bridget now weighs 134 pounds. She puts together a list of things to do in an hour, which includes everything from laundry to calling her mom. She realizes she will not be able to do them all. She then categorizes them by importance and urgency. Rebecca comes across the street to visit Bridget. They decide to have a drink, and then Rebecca remembers she’s supposed to be on a school run.
