Summary

Prologue - Part 1

Talitha calls Bridget on Thursday, April 18, 2013, to tell her that her sixtieth birthday is on May 24 and that Bridget should keep the date open. Bridget explains it is Roxster’s thirtieth that same day, but Talitha tells Bridget to bring him along. Bridget considers whether bringing Roxster along would be a good idea or a bad idea. Talitha and Bridget have been friends since they worked together on the show “Sit Up Britain” (Talitha a newsreader and Bridget a reporter). She thinks it would be nice to have a date for the party, but then she considers that perhaps being surrounded by old people will make Bridget, at thirty-five, seem older as well. Bridget later gets a call from Brian Katzenberg. She says that she will call him back later as she heads out to pick up her daughter...
