Chapter Seven, Ticket to Kaunas Summary and Analysis

When Daniel graduates from high school, he makes the decision not to attend University. His parents are slightly disappointed with the decision but are more concerned about how Daniel will adapt to life in the outside world. Daniel responds to an advertisement for volunteers to work overseas. After several interviews, Daniel is accepted into the program.
