Chapters 32 through 35 Summary

In Chapter thirty-two, Kylie makes the introductions between Trey and Lucas then insists she and Lucas leave. Lucas apologizes for the kiss and says it shouldn't have happened, a statement that hurts Kylie though she doesn't say anything. Back at the cabin, Kylie tells Della she wants to donate blood. Della is skeptical at first but pleased, saying she's glad Kylie doesn't see her as a monster. Della says she can survive the summer on animal blood but Kylie says she has "extra" and wants to give some to Della. Miranda enters and when she discovers Kylie is giving blood, Miranda donates as well.

Some time passes with no drama and then Kylie wakes one night to discover she's not in her bed. She comes to realize she's in the body of the soldier she has seen so many times before...
