Chapter 41-45 Summary

Tommy is still sitting at the table with the Count and Sally in chapter forty-one when Tommy is shocked by the news that they want him to be the new chef. In the basement the chef is being pulled up to his knees by Victor. The chef's face is being pushed down toward the rotary slicer. The chef screams and it is heard by Tommy and the others upstairs. The chef looses a piece of his cheek and as he falls on the floor he sees Tommy's legs. Tommy grabs an ice shaver and buries it into Victor's armpit. Victor pulls it out and tries to steady himself but puts his hand down onto the rotary slicer and looses the end of a finger to the second joint. Sally comes down, wanting to know what is going on and Skinny comes...
