The point of view of The Body of Christopher Creed is first person, through the eyes of Torey Adams. This point of view is limited omniscient because it is written with full knowledge of Torey's thoughts and feelings. It is written as though in retrospect, after the events occurred. The novel is written as though Torey is remembering the events and writing them down at a later date in order to send a written record of these events to the victim of a disappearance, Christopher Creed. Torey writes this story as a therapeutic device, as well as a way to share with Christopher Creed emotions that Torey was not able to share with him before he disappeared.
