Chapters 18-22 Summary

In Chapter 18, Rose wakes a day later in a room that appears to have been specially designed to keep her prisoner and unable to create a weapon. When Dimitri comes into the room, Rose attacks him. After a few minutes of fighting, Rose gives up when it appears she cannot win. Dimitri then tells Rose that he would like to turn her into a Strigoi so they can live eternity together. However, if she refuses, Rose will be killed. Rose demands he kill her. Another Strigoi, Nathan, comes into the room. Nathan is the one who turned Dimitri and insists that Dimitri get the information they need from Rose and kill her. Dimitri orders Nathan out of the room.
