Chapters 19-21 Summary

Vivian wakes up in her room in bed. She cannot remember what happened the last night after she jumped out of Aiden's window, and thinks that she must have been so upset her wolf side simply took over. She sees blood on her hand and on her sheets and can smell that it is human blood. She is suddenly terrified that she did something terrible and might have hurt Aiden. She quickly washes off the blood in the shower and then calls Aiden. He answers, and she slams the phone down, relieved that he is alive.

A siren wails past, and Vivian follows the police cars to Tooley's bar, where the police surround a dumpster. The Five arrive, and tell her that a body was found in the dumpster, and the police are talking about a wild animal attack. Rafe tells...
