Chapters 4-6 Summary

The werewolves hold a meeting at Esme and Vivian's house. Rudy informs them that the insurance money came through for the buildings burned down in the fire. He suggests using the money to move on and find a new place in the country somewhere. Astrid argues that she does not want to leave and some of the others agree. The pack also argues over who will be their new leader, with some favoring Gabriel and others arguing that he is too young. They decide that they will have to fight to see who gets to be leader. This will be done in a ritual called The Ordeal in a month's time. Vivian gets sick of the arguing and goes outside, where the Five follow her and threaten her new boyfriend, telling her that she should stick with her own kind.
