Thomas Hunter

Thomas Hunter is the main protagonist of the novel. He is the only person in the novel who is living two lives; one in the histories where he is trying to stop the Raison Strain from killing all life and in the forest centuries after the Great Deception. He is a capable fighter with a big heart who ran an illegal business to try and save his mother from debt and help his sister get her job and a car. Since his religious father abandoned his family when they lived in the Philippines, Thomas never believed in God. However, when he meets Elyon, he becomes a faithful believer who fights for both the histories and the future.
