Summary

At Taifa Ngao, a Wakandan military base, T'Challa is working with Eden, a former Avenger also known as "Manifold." Eden has the ability to open portals to allow people to travel great distances instantaneously. Eden opens a portal to the Alkama Fields, the hideout for Tetu and Zenzi's rebellion which is now known as "The People." T'Challa and his War Dogs mercilessly attack armed soldiers, with T'Challa's rage consuming him. Akili, commander of the War Dogs, grabs T'Challa's arm to stop him from killing a wounded soldier in cold blood. Upon returning the Taifa Ngao, the reader learns Wakanda's capital, The Golden City, has fallen to the rebellion. Wakandans are offering their bodies for the cause and T'Challa brings back five men who have explosive devices embedded into their chest.
