Chapter 11 Summary

A month before the election, Matthew reveals to Bunny that Helen will be having a baby in three weeks. He knows that she will not get an abortion and has even sent her to resorts, thinking that travel might cause a miscarriage. Matthew says that he loves Helen and does not want to leave her.
