Summary

Moses questioned the twins asking why the warden Vimba had let them escape. They explained that they had cured Old Koukouba’s difficulty urinating by laying their hands on his penis and that their escape was a reward. Moses did not doubt the story as he believed twins had supernatural powers. Moses and the twins escaped to Pointe-Noire, living in Grand Marché, the crime filled market in the town. The twins started a gang and ended up ruling Grand Marché after standing up to the leader of another gang, Robin the Terrible. Robin went by this name due to his idolization of Robin Hood although he himself stole from rich and poor alike.
