Summary

Moses described how he would have to take care of his friend Bonaventure during their time at the orphanage. Bonaventure would get bullied as he would not stick up for himself. The bullies would stop when Moses was present as he had gained a reputation after seeking revenge on the twins, Songi-Songi and Tala-Tala. They had beaten up Bonaventure and Moses had spiked their food with chili powder in retribution, giving them dysentery. The twins were four years older and violent; they had previously gouged out the eye of another orphan due to him owing them food.
