Summary

In Chapter 51, Marian tells Galway and May that she hadn't called anyone about Lu before now because Lu didn't want her to and seemed terrified at the prospect. She leads them to Lu's cabin, telling them that she doesn't know what set Lu off but whatever it was had been traumatic. Lu is overwhelmed to see May and Galway. May can see that Lu is distraught so she sits by her on her bunk and encourages her to talk about what is going on.

In Chapter 52, Lu tells May and Galway that she had only pretended to go to camp when all the while she hid after Tilde dropped her at the bus station. Lu, posing as Tilde, called camp to say that Lu would not be coming to camp. Instead Lu and Owen had planned to live in an abandoned cottage on...
