Anne's Father
Anne's father is an important person in her life and in the formation of her writing process. He is a published writer whose disciplined writing approach demonstrated to Anne the necessity of writing a little every day. Her father was also an avid reader of all types of writing. He read poetry, plays, novels and newspapers. He ensured the house in which Anne grew up was filled with books. This instilled a love of reading and the written word in Anne.
With contemporaries of artists and fellow writers, Anne's father surrounds himself with creative people. He immerses himself in conversation supportive of this artistic community within his own home. In turn he immerses his family as well. His children are raised in an environment where creativity is not a hobby, but rather a lifestyle.
