Chapters 7-9 Summary

In Chapter Seven, Monica and her partner Walter are on patrol when they drive past Andrew, who is running with the gun he took from Jack Pendrick. They stop him, and Walter wants to handcuff him, but Monica realizes he's not a threat. Andrew explains that he, Matt, and Jenny were playing the "kill" game when a real shooter came after them with a gun. Jack Pendick appears shortly thereafter, and begins telling his version of the story before he realizes he might get himself into trouble. Detective Baker shows up and investigates further. He thinks it's too much of a coincidence that real shooters have appeared both times Matt has tried to "kill" Jenny with a squirt gun, but Monica reminds him that they are in Miami, which is a crazy city besides.
