Summary

In Chapter 14, Darshi told Daphne that the woman the police arrested was named Emma Vincent. She was a member of the catering staff. Darshi suggested that perhaps Emma was Robert’s girlfriend.

Alone, Daphne looked at the last picture of herself and Drue that she had posted. She knew people wanted authenticity in their postings, but she could not decide what was best to say about Drue. The best that Daphne could come up with was “Rest in peace, beautiful girl” (240).

Meanwhile, Nick told Daphne he was going to the hospital with her when she went to talk to Rabbi Howard Medloff about the eulogy. He wanted to be sure she was safe.
