Part 4, Chapters 86, 87, 88, 89 Summary

Cross draws his gun as he and the other agents moved in on the would-be abductors. One of the men grabs Gautier, the target and holds a gun to his face. The lead FBI agent yells for the agents to shoot. The man with a gun to Gautier's head commands them to step back or he will shoot. Then, he shoots Gautier in the face.

All hell breaks loose and the three men scatter. Cross chases the blond who shot Gautier, astonished that the man shot so ruthlessly and wondering if the man he is chasing is the Wolf. All of a sudden, the man turns and fires at Cross who hits the ground, dodging the bullet. Then, he hears a shot from behind him and the blond falls......
