Mr. Potter's true identity is that of Homer O. Taylor, an English professor at Dartmouth. Potter is mourning the loss of his beautiful Benjamin, emotionally and financially. Potter has been financing his purchases with two million dollars that he had inherited. The money however, was going fast. Potter contacts Sterling to let him know that he is ready to make another purchase.

As the White Girl case gets busier and busier, Cross continues to try and keep balance in his life. Every day, he tries to call Jamilla and even takes time to visit his friend Sampson and his pregnant wife. As for the case, Cross has received the report of Slava and Zoya's murder, under investigation by agents in New York. Cross visits Monnie in the mornings before.....
