Paul D is still sitting on the sidewalk in front of the church. Stamp Paid arrives. Paul D tells him that he does not want to see any more newspaper clippings. Instead, Stamp sits down and apologizes. Stamp tells Paul D that he can move into any house in Cincinnati with any black family and they will be happy to take him.
