Chapter 21 Summary

Denver thinks that Beloved is her sister. She drank her blood on Sethe's nipple when she was taken away to prison with Sethe. The baby's ghost climbing up the stairs was the first thing that she heard after she went deaf. She missed the ghost, but she is happy that her sister returned in human form this time.
