Summary

Bookworm. Ethan goes to the library where Marian introduces him to Liv, her new assistant. Liv is very different from Lena, and Ethan finds himself drawn to her. Marian sets Ethan to work organizing the archives. When the cat stares at his mother’s empty chair, Ethan wonders if she is there. Then he touches a book lying on the chair he has a vision of Abraham Ravenwood arguing with his brother Jonah who was trying to get him out of the house before the Federals came to burn it down. Jonah produces an Arclight, an object that can imprison his kind, a blood Incubus. Abraham drinks from Jonah’s blood, killing him. Marian pulls Ethan from the vision and he tells her about it. Marian tells Ethan that Abraham is dead and he should not pursue the vision.
