Summary

When Ana and Maya were little girls, Maya wanted to be a musician when she grew up, Ana briefly considered being a hockey player. Ana tells Maya she must speak out about what happened to her, because otherwise Kevin might rape someone else. Maya worries about the effect speaking out will have on her family. It is Saturday, the day of the juniors' finals. Maya looks out the window and sees three little girls playing in the snow, and she knows Ana is right, she must tell.

In Chapter 29, Peter is preparing to leave for the game, and Kira arrives home from the grocery store. Maya meets them both outside and tells them what happened.
