Summary

Ana, unable to find Maya, leaves the party. She makes a cutting remark to Amat on her way out that Maya is probably in Kevin's bedroom. Amat goes upstairs and, believing he hears a scream, enters Kevin's room. His entrance startles Kevin and Maya breaks free, running from the house. Amat follows and tells her she needs to go to the police. She says no one will believe her, and she continues walking, leaving Amat behind. It is at this moment that Benji tells his sister to pull the car over. He makes eye contact with Maya and then tells his sister that he did not see anything after all.

In Chapter 23, it is morning. Maya listens to her family leave the house, then gets up and washes her clothes. Benji talks to his sister Adri who owns the kennel. Amat calls Maya...
