Summary

Amat is put through a grueling practice with the juniors; he is bleeding by the end of it, but he keeps getting back up. The team is impressed.

Chapter 14 begins and it is Saturday, the day of semifinals. Maya wakes up with a headache, but when Ana asks her to play guitar for her, she acquiesces. Peter drops his car off with the mechanic, a man named Hog. He is Bobo's father. Ramona, the owner of the Bearskin, sees Peter walking by and invites him into the bar. Her husband Holger used to help her run the Bearskin before he died, and they used to go to every hockey game together. Now she does not attend the games because it is too painful.
