Summary

Chapter 19

Rachel apologizes for being too talkative and tipsy at dinner the night before. Emma assures her that she was fine and that she can even bring Jonathon to Evan’s game if she wants. That makes Rachel’s mood change, for she is worried Jonathon is keeping something from her. She asks Emma what she and Jonathon talk about when they are both up at night, and Emma tells her that they talk about sports, commercials, and how they both wish they could sleep. Rachel wants to know something, anything about Jonathon’s past. Emma tells her mother that she is sure that nothing is wrong with Jonathon, despite her mother worrying that something is wrong.
